Pressure Washing FAQ for Round Rock

Straight answers on cost, damage risk, methods, insurance, and scheduling.

Cost and quotes

What does pressure washing cost in Round Rock?

It depends on the service and the job. Quotes are free and firm, and we put the final price in writing before we start. Size, stories, and condition move the price.

Is the quote firm, or can it change on the day?

The written quote is the price, as long as the job matches what you showed us. We confirm it in writing before we start and do not add surprise upsells. If we find something unexpected, such as a larger area than the photos showed, we tell you first and you decide.

Methods and damage risk

What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?

Pressure washing uses force to blast dirt off hard surfaces like concrete. Soft washing uses low pressure and a cleaner that kills algae and mildew, then rinses gently. We soft wash roofs, siding, and stucco, and use a surface cleaner on flatwork. Using the wrong one is how surfaces get damaged.

Does pressure washing damage stone or stucco exteriors?

It can, if the pressure is too high. Natural limestone suppliers advise staying under about 1,200 psi, and stucco is porous enough to hold water if it is blasted. We use low pressure, a wide fan, and dwell time, and we test a small area first when a surface is delicate.

Can pressure washing damage brick mortar?

Yes. Older mortar can wear away under strong pressure, leaving deep joints and open paths for water. We keep pressure low on brick, rely on cleaner and dwell time, and look at the mortar before we start. If it is already crumbling, we tell you so you know what to expect.

Will pressure washing void my roof warranty?

High pressure can. Asphalt shingle makers say not to pressure wash or scrub shingles and to use only gentle, low-pressure treatment. That is why we soft wash roofs. If your roof is worn or hail-bruised, tell us, and check your own warranty terms for specifics.

Why does my driveway have stripes or circles after washing?

Usually the result of a bare wand held at uneven distances, or a surface cleaner that was paused or tilted. Deep rings can be etching, which does not wash away. We use an enclosed surface cleaner with overlapping passes to keep the result even, and we check the slab as we go.

Stains and results

Can oil and rust stains come out of my driveway?

Sometimes fully, often partly. Fresh oil and recent rust usually lift well. Old, deep oil and long-set rust may lighten but not vanish, and etched concrete cannot be undone. We pre-treat the spot and tell you what to expect before we start, not after.

How do I get hard-water spots off my windows and walls?

Round Rock city water averages about 14.5 grains per gallon, which is hard, so spotting on glass and walls is common. Fresh mineral spots often lift with the right cleaner. Spots that have been baking on for years may have etched the glass, and that cannot always be reversed.

Insurance, guarantee, and scheduling

Are you insured, and can I see the certificate?

Yes, we are insured, and a certificate is available on request. Ask when you book and we will send it before the job. If anything on your property is damaged because of our work, tell us right away and we will walk through it with you.

What if you miss a spot?

Tell us within 7 days and we come back and fix it at no charge. Send a photo and the location, and we schedule a return visit. We also tell you on the day if a stain only lightened, so you are not surprised later.

Do I need to be home during the job?

No, if we can reach the exterior and you have told us about gate access and pets. Please close windows and move items off patios first. We send photos when we finish, or walk the result with you if you are home.

When is the best time to book in Central Texas?

Late spring, after oak pollen drops, and early fall are popular. Cedar pollen runs roughly mid-December to mid-February and oak pollen from March through May, so a wash in the middle of either season gets dusted quickly. Book sooner if you have an HOA deadline or are listing a home.

Which cities do you serve?

Round Rock first, then Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Leander, and Hutto. Pricing works the same across that area. If you are just outside it, call us at (512) 546-6208 and we will tell you whether we can schedule your property.

My HOA sent a notice about mildew or a dirty driveway. What should I do?

Check your notice for the deadline, since Texas HOA violation notices must state a cure period. Then call us with the date. We can schedule around it, and we can send before-and-after photos so you have a record to show your HOA.
